My Ambition in Life Essay Example
Nothing can guide someone to live a purposeful life than to have ambition in life. Ambition is a driving force that leads an individual, a nation, or a clan to the right way where they want to see themselves in the future life. Every person has different ambition in life that depends on the life pattern and the peers living surrounding him. I have the ambition to become a researcher in my life. Why I prefer this profession to others is my keen nature of investigating things to bring a meaningful extract from the fuss of lengthy descriptions and talks. Today’s world has changed because of the advancement of modern technologies and this has shaped the world accordingly. Ambitions work like a road, as a clear road leads someone to the real destination, similarly, ambitions lead a man to the real destination.
Today’s world is changing at a great pace. The invention of modern technologies in communications has diverted the whole world from an interest in seeing the world in real form rather than a world of pumps and shows. So this thing has played a great part in forming the ambitions of different people accordingly
How do ambitions play a distinctive role in forming passion into reality?
Human nature follows the track of a road. As a road leads a vehicle to the destination, similarly a clear-cut ambition leads a behavior to the desired results. Moreover, it’s a common phenomenon that if there are the least obstacles on the road the least time a vehicle takes to reach the destination. Likewise, the more you are clear in your goals and ambitions, the more chances to succeed in attaining the desired goals. Hence ambitions play a distinctive role in forming passion into the reality
Why do I want to be a researcher?
There are several reasons for it. Above all, I realized my quest for more and more knowledge. As a researcher, I can acquire as much knowledge as I want. As knowledge and wisdom go hand in hand, they can bring in more wisdom. All the progress made in this world is the result of knowledge and wisdom. Additionally, a man should survive to learn and improve. He must adhere to goodness for himself and society. Well-being and improvement are core phenomena to which the human race endeavors in history. All scientific inventions and discoveries are the result of the research and findings. (Scientist), a "scientist is someone who has studied science and whose job is to research the scienceâ€. Therefore knowledge and research are the corn stones of the research paradigm. The superior ambitions when pursued earnestly could bring light into the darkness
A man without an aim in life lives an empty life. The importance of ambition as discussed above is giving direction to life. Research brings more knowledge which in turn brings wisdom. And wisdom is the core resourceful principle in all spheres of life individually as well as collectively. Moreover, it is not an easy job. In the words of Benavent,
"Being a scientist is a vocational career, in which candidates should have patience, initiative and skepticism, good oral and written skills, and the capacity to work alone and as part of a team. Being a scientist is like falling in love, sometimes everything is perfect (articles are published funding calls are approved), and feel over the moon, but other times science does not corporate with you (articles rejected more experiments to do, degeneration of funding) and you have to work harder for that loveâ€.
There are no fixed boundaries in my ambition. A researcher, scientist, or writer endeavors to knowledge all life. He cannot say that he has achieved his goals or destination. Instead one has to struggle continuously. However, in the race of limitless, there is a feeling of satiation. A man feels fulfilled when he is chasing his ambitions which are acquiring knowledge. Therefore, I can stay on my journey as long as I am alive. I cannot say much about the destination but my journey is very beautiful and I love to spend as much as I can.
